Welcome to this delightful holiday home in the south of Småland! The pretty cottage is set in the small village of Kalvshaga and is surrounded by fruit trees and shrubbery. There's a roofed terrace as well as a garden with outdoor furniture and a garden grill. On the bottom floor, there's a small kitchen with all of the necessary amenities, such as an electric cooker. There's also a wood-burning stove in the kitchen. The kitchen, dining room, and entrance hall are all open-plan. The living room features an open fireplace, which you are welcome to use, and there's also free wireless internet access. In the bathroom, you will find a WC and a washbasin. The bathroom can also be accessed from the outside of the house. The shower is in a separate building, 10 metres from the cottage. On the bottom floor, you will also find one bedroom with two beds. The upper floor has low ceilings (190 centimetres). Up here you will find three single beds. In the village, there's a dock where you'll find the boat that is included in the rent. Lake Åsnen is well known for it's excellent fishing possibilities. You can buy a fishing permit from the next-door neighbour. Bird watchers will be happy to know there's a variety of birds in the area, falcons, eagles, and osprey, for instance. Kalvsvik is four kilometres from the cottage and features a lovely bathing spot with bathing docks. You have access to four bicycles so why not take them to the nature reserve in Bjurkärr? Another beautiful place to visit is Huseby bruk, 15 kilometres away, with it's castle and it's ironworks museum. There's also an inn, a café, a nature reserve, and an observation tower.
