In winter, the winter landscape of the Bodental inspires various opportunities for skiing, ski tours and cross-country skiing on the high-altitude trails. In summer, the famous Wörthersee, the largest lake in Carinthia, the Keutschacher See and the St. Johann bathing lake in Feistritz im Rosental offer plenty of bathing fun and can all be reached in a maximum of 45 minutes by car. Directly in Ferlach and the surrounding area there are sufficient shops for daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.
